Dave

You commented on a recent book discussing these sorts of issues that it assumed that men are the root of all women's problems, and that view seems pretty typical of the books that I've read on this topic.

Judging by your prior comments, I'm assuming that the presentation you gave attempted to avoid that particular bias. Was that talk recorded and, if so, is it getting posted online anywhere (or can you point me to other recommended resources on the topic of women in the third world?)

  • Wondering about the long time between posts on this blog? Well, most days I don't have much to say--I'm busy working on my third book and it's captured all my extra brain cells. But when I find interesting stories and links, I post them on my Facebook page. "Like" it and you'll get shorter updates via Facebook. Or just visit facebook.com/carolyncmcculley.
