Please join me today in praying for two bold women in Iran who are standing firm for the name of Jesus Christ.
Jubilee Campaign USA alerted me to the case of Maryam and Marzieh, who were conditionally released in November after 259 days in Iran's Evin Prison for their Christian faith. They have been receiving medical treatment for the past five months, but both remain unwell and weak, suffering from various illnesses. Despite their frailties, they are determined to be faithful to the Lord and speak the truth in court whatever the consequence or personal cost.
Their hearing is today, April 13th. Please pray that:
The peace of God will protect their hearts and minds and keep them safe.
They will completely recover from their illnesses and be strong physically, mentally and spiritually.
They will know the presence of God in the midst of their trial.
They will be set free.
UPDATE: Please keep praying. Their court case has been delayed a few days but they have not been detained.
For some background on their case, you can visit a website dedicated to their release and watch a video below made by a fellow Iranian believer last year to appeal for their release.
I read about these women in Voice of the Martyrs! Thanks for the update...continuing to pray.
