Bethany Grover

Hi, Carolyn!

I found the interview interesting and helpful. Highlights for me were:

1. The connection you drew between being included as a part of families and the healthy counsel that came as a result

2. The historical commitment to help the next generation marry

3. Your concern for lady "empty-nesters" and the modern idea of the home as a place of consumption. I remember you sharing this history in your book, but hadn't made the connection to real-life consequences like that.

4. And I'd never heard about the shoe dreams before. It's always neat to hear how God speaks to us where we're at. =)

Thanks so much!

As a 30-something single Christian woman, it's so easy to feel like an outsider in the Church. I listened to the interview earlier this evening and came away feeling so blessed by it. Thank you!

I don't know why, but after seeing Justin's post I decided to listen to the interview with Dever. You're a hoot to listen to. I wish you success and God's blessing with Citygate films. I'm going to be 49 for awhile.

Danice Collins

I loved the interview! So fun to hear you again.

Sara R.

I saw the 29 year old comment! That made me laugh in a good way. :)

Terry

I listened tonight. I was amazed when you talked about the link between the foster care system and child prostitution. My wife was shocked, too. I think it's one more very good reason to encourage Christians to adopt. Thanks for sharing the interview!

Thanks for sharing your heart with all of us Carolyn and also for speaking for other 29-year old single women! :)

I can't tell you what an encouragement your writing has been and I came across this interview at an very appropriate time - thanks for challenging all of us, in every season of life, to think about how to live radically for Christ!
