Very honest and very touching. Life is full of hard decisions that are made easier in retrospect when we are in communion with Christ. God Bless Vivian for making the right decision and sharing that testimony.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I often wonder how a mom makes this decision. It is a beautiful story.

Thanks for sharing your story. I too am a birth mother and completely understand the sadness, strength, and sacrifice it takes to choose what's best for your child. I chose an open adoption and it helps (although still hard) to be able to occasionally see my daughter as she grows (she will be 3 this year) and the rewards she reaps from my choice of adoption. For me,although it is sad at times, I also experience joy knowing I made the best choice for my daughter. I recently shared how I came to choose adoption for my daughter on my blog www.crtruelove.com. ("A Message Worth Listening To") May God Bless you and your daughter!

Wow...Vivian did the right choice in choosing life for her daughter. Her story gave me a glimpse into the heart of a woman who lovingly gave up her daughter for adoption because she valued her daughter's life. I am glad that God was with her and is continually with her throughout this journey of having a relationship with her daughter.

This left me wondering about the role of the father of Vivian's daughter. I appreciated reading it, in any event.

Reading this article brought a thought to mind that never ever occurred before. Hannah was childless and prayed for many years to have a child.
Essentially she gave that child up for adoption since Samuel was raised in Eli's household.
Life has never been a straight road. Loving the Lord and him loving us makes everything all right.
Rejoice in having made the best decision for all concerned at the time and think of Hannah sometimes and God's purposes.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Thank you too for your sharing the transparency of your heart.

I enjoyed reading this...such a touching story and how beautiful that Vivian was so convinced of the worth of her daughter's life right from the beginning!

I am glad that there are always so many pro-life articles on your blog and that you are not afraid to write about the issue of abortion!
